Hmm, seems like the interviewer may have instigated that answer, but she did shade Janet a little. I can respect her opinion about that, because that is somewhat true…but still, was it call for? She could have just said “No”. Madonna has always been verbal about certain things, I just thought that was….(sigh)
Well the drama doesn’t stop there. Elton John had to send his own subliminal shade at Madonna himself. Check out what he said about her in a recent interview about her upcoming SuperBowl performance…
“Make sure you lip-sync good. Of course you have to play live, but I don’t think you can. In all fairness to everyone who’s done it before, I think you may be able to sing live, but it’s really hard to play live.”

If you haven’t kept up with these two, they have always been rivals. Elton and Madonna are known for publicly criticizing each other over the years. An incident happened with the two mega stars years ago and they haven’t been cool ever since. This is where it all started and why…..

The Q awards ceremony were being held in London and Elton and Madonna were both nominated in different music categories. Madonna was nominated for best live act, and for some reason Elton decided that she shouldn’t have been. When he accepted his award for best song writer, he used some of his speech time to trash her saying, “Madonna, best f***ing live act? F*** off! Since when has lip- synching been live? That’s me off her f***ing Christmas card list but do I give a toss? No.” SNAP! Madonna had her spokeswoman give a statement that she of course doesn’t lip-synch and doesn’t go around talking smack about other people. Then she also added, “Elton remains on her Christmas card list whether he is nice…..or naughty.” Madonna taking the high road. After a while Elton tried to make nice and invite her to his wedding bash. But he called her a miserable cow after she never showed up. Then at a GQ Men of the Year Awards , hell froze over when Elton introduced Madonna, then they gave each other a hug. “This is a moment you thought you’d never see,” he told the audience.

Well oh boy! Why do grown people behave like this? Elton is a legend in his own right, and really shouldn’t have to be like that. Madonna is too, and shouldn’t have to go there either….smh. Hopefully everyone can get along eventually. Well, I’m still forward to the SuperBowl Performance. I heard M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj will be joining her on stage. Should be interesting, stay tuned….

Sorry but I don’t know how you could respect an opinion coming from a hypocrite. First off Madonna is known for using stunts and controversy to boost her career. Did we forget Kissing girls on ,stage posing nude

I totally get what you are saying. I only meant I respect her opinion about the simple fact that artists Don’t have to to do those things to have a good show, especially during the SuperBowl halftime. Maybe I should have said it different lol. If you reread the post I put emphasis on the fact that I felt what she said was shady. No respect towards her being shady or a hypocrite. However, I stand corrected, you are absolutely right about her vulgar acts in the past as well. Thanks for the comment!
