Our girl Amber Rose released a new song today called FAME. I listened to the song and I actually really do like it. It is very catchy and her man Wiz Khalifah makes an appearance on the song with her.
Amber issued a statement “I’m so excited to release my first song… It’s CRAZY! Working with Wiz is a dream come true; I am fortunate to have his support. This is a very personal song to me that I wanted to record for my fans. I want people to see the world from my eyes, you know, from BEHIND MY SHADES! It’s my interpretation of what it means to be “FAMOUS,” which is not something superficial but instead being self-confident and happy with who you are. You can feel famous everyday if you believe in yourself.”
Amber stated that her primary motivation for getting into music was the influence of Wiz Khalifa who prompted her to record after she showed him some of the lyrics that she’d written. Amber Rose added that her style was influenced by Missy Elliot, Fergie and Pitbull and stated that fan’s could expect “Just big, big music – Dance music that just makes you happy.” And that’s exactly what she’s given us with FAME..a song to make us happy.
Amber has made appearances in hip hop videos over the past few years including Ludacris’ ‘What Them Girls Like,’ Young Jeezy’s ‘Vacation,’ Nicki Minaj’s ‘Massive Attack’ and Fabolous’ ‘You Be Killin’ Em.’ As well, the model has appeared on the small screen a number of times including a guest spot on the Russell Simmons centered reality show ‘Running Russell Simmons’ and as a guest judge on ‘Master of the Mix’ and an upcoming film ‘Gang of Roses’.
