Congratulations to 36-year-old singer Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. After competing against numerous acts it came down to the final four. Mr. Murphy was up against Team iLuminate, Silhouettes and POPLYFE so the voters voted and so he beat out his competition. He said:
“Thank you so much for supporting me and believing in me, and helping me believe in myself on national television, in front of the whole world,” Murphy said in disbelief.
“This is so important to us, man,” the former car washer told host Nick Cannon. ”This has been a long, hard journey. I been busting my butt out here doing this for so long, ever since I was a kid, and it’s finally paying off.”
Mr. Murphy is a married father from West Virginia. He left the stage with winning $1 million dollars and a headlining act in Las Vegas. Congrats Landau Murphy for winning last nights America’s Got Talent.
