It went down on Sunday, July 29 at the Music Hall At Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. Dru Hill, Silk, Next and Shai brought down the house with hits from the 90’s. In case you missed it, DivaWhispers was there to give you all the exclusive pictures and more.
In the 1990′s, these were some of the most popular groups on the planet! Every time you heard them on the air waves or on your stereo, love was being made and babies were being born. The smooth sounds of these male groups steamed up women’s hearts and showed the softer side of men.
The groups performed their butts off with hit songs like “In My Bed” and “5 Steps” from Dru Hill, “Freak Me” and “Meeting in my Bedroom” from Silk, “Too Close” and “Wifey” from Next and “If I Ever Fall in Love” and “Comforter” from Shai. I will not lie, the songs embraced my body and sent tingles down my spine.
The women in the crowd were screaming their heads off as you will see in some of the pictures below. Silk was my personal favorite performers of the night and not just to me but after asking several people who they felt rocked the crowd the most, they all responded ‘SILK’! All the groups did extremely well and most are coming back so make sure to look out for their upcoming projects.
Everyone I met was so nice. S/O to Tweety from Next, Sisqo & Dru Hill’s new artist Scola Dinero and all of the Silk members for being extra courteous.
