OMG! Eliana Girard took the stage and gave us an unforgettable performance on last night auditions of So You Think You Can Dance. I think we have a winner as long as she doesn’t break during Vegas week.
A former “pole aerialist” for Cirque du Soleil, Girard combined classical ballet training with the kinds of moves many men only see during bachelor parties. It was a unique, impressive audition and I loved every second of it. Nigel Lythgoe tweeted later by calling Eliana a “pole dancing ballerina”.
“I already love you so much,” said Ferguson. “You have a quality Melanie had last year. She could just draw you in by just being. It was in her pores. You’ve got it.”
