This is soooo sad. How could they allow this thing to get so ugly? I really feel sorry for both parents and their children. I hope both of them have learned valuable lessons in this divorce and one day they can have some type of reconciliation at least for the kids.

After an April 23 domestic scuffle between Deion Sanders and his wife Pilar Sanders, State District Judge Ray Wheless gave the Hall of Famer temporary custody of the couple’s two sons, 10 and 12, and that the children undergo psychological counseling. (It’s not the only bitter custody battle going on this week, either.)
According to a report from the Associated Press, both were charged with misdemeanor simple assault after their spat and were seeking protective orders against each other. Only Deion, 44, received the court protection. Deion will also be allowed to stay in their Texas home while Pilar cannot come within 500 yards of their former residence.
On the night of the April 23 scuffle, the report said that Deion was in a kitchen area when Pilar, 38, began kicking the kitchen door that is connected to their bedroom. When his wife started slapping him, he grabbed her by the waist and carried her out the room. Pilar sustained minor injuries but was jailed for a night after the incident and charged of misdemeanor domestic violence.
The judge ruled that Pilar’s injuries — a cut lip — were a result of Deion defending himself from her assault. Pilar will pay a fine for her assault on Deion.
And of course Deion went straight to twitter saying “GOD IS SO GOOD! DON’T EVER DOUBT HIM NO MATTER HOW YOUR SITUATION LOOKS. TRUST HIM PLEASE. HE IS SO FAITHFUL“
I’m going to keep my opinions to myself. The judge ruled and that’s that!
