It’s being reported that Brittany Murphy’s cause of death was toxic mold in her home. Her mother Sheila Murphy claims the people who built the house are to blame for the mold that caused her illness. In a new lawsuit, Sharon alleges she was misled by her lawyers and tricked into giving up her rights to sue the builders for wrongful death. Murphy’s mother says her lawyers convinced her to accept a settlement offer for the construction problems in January, but they didn’t explain that the settlement included a stipulation so that she would never be able to sue the builders for their alleged role in her daughter’s death.
Murphy’s death sparked rumors of it being a suspected overdose, but was proven false after toxicology reports showed pneumonia was the cause. Unfortunately her husband suffered the same fate a few months later. Her mother says this is also the reason for his death as well.
Brittany Murphy was with out a doubt one was of my favorite actresses. She had such a cute girl next door charisma that translated well on screen. She made you feel as though she was “one of the girls’ and you could hang out with her. Its a shame we lost such a great talent so soon. Hello Patti, First off I want to say I am deeply sorry for what you have been going through. I know that must be so hard and you want answers. You are so right some doctors really do not have empathy towards their patients and seem to be in it only for money. Toxic mold in homes is Very real and can go undetected.
As far as Brittany Murphy’s situation. As far as I know yes, this was confirmed. I know the toxicology reports for Brittany ruled out drugs, and confirmed it was pneumonia. The toxic mold in their home very well could have played a part in her getting the pneumonia. To my knowledge studies have reported mold in the home is very dangerous, and once found the persons that occupy that place should move or better yet the home be destroyed all together. If indeed it was mold, Brittany and her husband possibly didn’t not realize it and they both became ill from it. This would explain why their deaths were so close together.
