Jada Pinkett-Smith sat with her mother Adrienne Jones and daughter Willow Smith for a candid conversation in her series called Red Table Talk. The three spoke about Jada’s childhood and her mom admitting to using drugs until Jada was 17 or 18 years od age. Jada said she used that hard time in her life to gain power. That’s a positive way to put a spin on a negative environment she had to grow up in. That speaks volumes for Mrs. Smith.
During their conversation Willow Smith gave a confession that shocked her mom. Willow confessed if there was one thing she could change about her life she would “Not be famous. When you’re famous it’s so hard. Let’s say if a regular girl is going to the book store, it’s ten times harder to go everywhere when you’re famous.”
I know that life of a celebrity is hard and maybe even harder on the kids. All we see is glitz and glamour and riches when their life is way more difficult in between. A life some of us will never understand.
Check out the conversation below between Jada, Willow and Adrienne in Red Table Talk.

I think that Will and Jada wanted Willow to be a star more so than Willow did. I think Willow was too grown for her age. I hope her parents allow her to relax and be a child!
